The centre is headed up by Jon Dodds, someone who needs little introduction in the Sydney boating community. Jon has extensive experience going back 25 years in the industry. Most recently he was with one of the city’s leading motor cruiser dealerships and he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to getting the job done right. So whether owners need a regular antifoul and engine service, or a complete refit, Jon will manage each project to ensure on time on budget delivery.
While the centre is located at The Spit at Mosman, SBM will soon be operating a mobile service van, so work can also be done on boats located in other parts of greater Sydney area from Port Hacking to Port Stephens. Particular care will be taken to ensure that only SBM qualified engineers and technicians perform critical operations, for greater quality control and total reliability of the finished job.
The service will incorporate a parts centre which will keep critical replacement parts in stock for many of the popular marine engines and related equipment. So when boat owners are simply looking for a genuine replacement part, it’s just a phone call away.
For those unexpected mishaps, an emergency service will operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week when required for critical breakdown and emergency work.
