Excitement is building among Adelaide boating enthusiasts pending the official opening on Saturday (April 2) of the state’s 1st Maritimo dealership in the Marina Adelaide precinct at Largs North.

Maritimo CEO Bill Barry-Cotter will be on hand to officiate at the opening and will welcome the arrival of boat 1, a Maritimo 440 Offshore Convertible.

Adelaide dealer principal Paul Harrop said the official function would have a ‘Casino Royale’ theme and that invitations were 'in strong demand.'

'We have also invited a special group of icon partners to join our official opening and make this a special occasion,' he said.

'These include such iconic brands as Moet and Chandon, Kailis Pearls and some great motoring names, Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Audi and Land Rover,' he added.

Well-known local ‘big names’, including S C Pannell Wines, Hentley Farm Wines, the exclusive jeweller James Thredgold and home ware and fashion house One Rundle Trading will also be represented while industry stalwart Club Marine will also hoist its flag at the event.

Harrop said it was likely many guests would arrive at the event by boat and stay overnight at Marina Adelaide.

'We plan to light up the leisure marine business in Adelaide on the night and into the future,' he declared, 'and we’ll make it a night to remember.'
