Datchet Water SC Winter Warm Up series saw twenty-six boats brave gusts of 30 knots for the first two races. Many more potential sailors observed from the safety and comfort of the club house preserving their effort for the next three weekends.
Unfortunately those who made a hasty retreat from the cancelled sailing at Rutlands Tiger Trophy failed to make the start line on time but look forward to sailing next week.
Remember with two discards in the eight race event, if you did not compete today you can still sail the six required races over the next three weekends.
