Liverpool Boat Show 2011 - Tickets for the Liverpool Boat Show 2011 are now on sale. The highly anticipated new boating show is set to attract 400,000 visitors when it takes place from April 29 to May 8 in the historic waterside surroundings of the Albert Dock on the banks of the River Mersey.

Exhibitors at the inaugural show treading new ground in the North West include major global boating brands across power, sail, fishing, canal boating and canoeing categories. Show goers will be able to view brands such as Fairline, Sealine, Sunseeker, Princess, Azimut, Rodman, Beneteau, Bavaria, Legend and Passport.

The event is set to be a spectacular boat show with the potential to become the most high profile in Europe. Naval vessels and historic tall ships will add impact within the docks as well as a comedy, sea shanty and marine literary festival planned.

Two sailing regattas will run during alternate show weekends and the aqua-theatre provides sailing and power demonstrations with zap cats, dinghy match racing and live music on a floating stage.

Broadcasts from the Royal Wedding will be live via a large screen at the aqua-theatre bringing the action at Westminster Abbey straight to Liverpool. The Guinness Bar will also be making an exclusive return with stunning views out over the water based action.

Liverpool Boat Show will be open from 10.30am to 8.30pm every day, apart from the final Sunday (May 8) when it will close at 5.00pm.

People pre-booking show tickets will receive an exclusive Liverpool ONE/Boat Show Discount Card entitling them to fantastic discounts and promotional offers in many of the stores within the Liverpool ONE shopping district during the show.

The Liverpool Boat Show 2011 takes place from 29th April to 8th May at the Albert Dock, Liverpool.

It is being delivered by Marine Industry Events Ltd in partnership with Liverpool City Council, the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), Liverpool Vision, British Waterways, Albert Dock Liverpool, The Mersey Partnership and the Liverpool Waterfront Partnership.

The Liverpool Boat Show is promoted through The Mersey Partnership’s major destination campaigns, which are supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
