The North American Blokart Sailing Association (NABSA) is excited by the number of entries so far in the 2011 North American Blokart Sailing Championships (NABSC) as it builds up to hosting the Blokart World Championships in 2012. Entries are being received every day now from around the world, with a large Kiwi contingent already listed.
The latest entry is a particularly high profile one. Paul Beckett, AKA 'The Guru', inventor of the Blokart has entered the 2011 North American Blokart Sailing Championships. Paul brings both his larger than life personality and also his sailing experience to the event as the current performance super heavy weight champion. He also brings is vision for the sport to the NASA worlds organizing committee, helping create a world class event in both 2011 and 2012.
The kiwis are preparing early for the next world championships to ensure they leave no stone unturned in their quest for continued domination in the sport. Hoping to meet the Spanish, Belgians and Dutch on the race course, the Kiwis are keen to further their experience of international racing on the larger Ivanpah course.
