Going fishing, Protect your phone with LifeProof + Videos

Fishing used to be just about fishing and to some degree it still is but with the advancement of technology, fishing has become a lot easier.

Today, anglers right around the world heavily rely on technology to find them fish, whether it is with the use of their depth sounder, GPS, iphone or ipad, this new technological advancement is now used in all aspects of water sports.

I know when I’m on the water, I always have my iphone with me which is used to check weather updates, brag on facebook and twitter about my catch or used to take photos with, either way, it is with me.

I have heard plenty of horror stories of netting fish and someone’s iphone falls out of their top pocket and sinks to Davey’s Locker or they spill a drink on it and fry the phone.

Well, all that can finally come to an end with the release of the LifeProof iphone/ipad case.

LifeProof have designed an outer casing that delivers the highest rating against water ingress of any phone case on the market. That means you can surf, swim or soak it without dunking your device. And, when it comes to everyday drenchings like wild weather, surprise spills and kitchen calamities, your electronics stay high and dry.

LifeProof water tests every case they make. If it leaks, they scrap it. They do this to give you the confidence that your phone or tablet is 100% protected.

For an angler, this is vital and although the case is a little bulkier than the phone itself, you can be confident you won’t destroy it or lose it.

Even with the LifeProof case attached to the phone will still sink to the bottom, but not when you have the LifeProof Life Jacket installed.

The Life Jacket is just that, a chunky life jacket which slides over the LifeProof case and holds it with a tight fit. If it falls overboard, it will float, just as if a person was to go overboard with a life jacket on. With its bright orange colour, you will be able to spot it anywhere, anytime.

LifeProof have designed a range of cases to fit most smart phones and ipads these days. If you’re an angler that wades a stream for trout or heads out into the big blue to catch that fish of a lifetime, the LifeProof case should be attached to your phone.
