Australian National Maritime Museum - Fun time at the museum

'Night at the Navy'    Australian National Maritime Museum

There’s plenty of ‘cool’ things to keep children of all ages entertained at the Australian National Maritime Museum with an amazing Antarctic inspired school holiday program this April. Create a Antarctic animal snowdome, produce your own South Pole claymation for YouTube. Plus there’s the museum’s latest exhibitions Rescue, Ships and the Sea, and Elysium Epic, a stunning visual exhibition of life above and below the Antarctic ice, as well as a special evening with the Navy onboard HMAS Vampire and HMAS Advance.

A Night in the Navy

Saturday 20 April, 5.30pm–7 pm

Check out Vampire’s gun turret and uncover the truth about the ship’s ghost lurking in the surgery. Use your powers of deduction to decode a secret semaphore message. Enjoy delicious snacks and make a souvenir Vampire badge on the museum’s wharf. For Ages 7+. Child $20/Member child $18. Adult $15/Member adult $10.
