Peter Herning, former Regatta President, passes away
|
Peter Herning, former President of the Phuket King's Cup Regatta, past Commodore of the Royal Varuna Yacht Club and long-term supporter of sailing in Thailand recently passed away. Peter was an active sailor and always passionate about the Royal Varuna Yacht Club and sailing in Thailand, contributing both on the organisational side as well as a regular regatta competitor. Peter played a significant role in the growth of sailing in Thailand and was President of the Phuket King's Cup Regatta Organising Committee in 1990 and 1991. Peter will be missed by us all.
