Sail-World.com : The Great Race 2013
Are you ready to battle it out as the 2013 Champion of Queensland's longest Off the Beach Catamaran and Dinghy race, 'The Great Race'? The Great Race is set to take place 9th-10th February 2013 at Southport Yacht Club, Gold Coast.
Enter today, with only one week to go.
Starting at Southport Yacht Club's Hollywell Sailing Squadron, on the Gold Coast and finishing at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, Brisbane. Sailing 37 nautical miles through the Broadwater channels and crossing Moreton Bay to the finish.
The first race was first held in 2005 and with large numbers expected this year it will be a true test of both boat and sailor.

Foilers: Foiling Moth - Steve Sherring (20 Good Reasons) 2h:39m:58s
Monohulls: 29er – Tom Siganto and Joel Turner (Seriously Guided) 3h:25m:09s
Multihulls: Hobie Wildcat – Grant Pellew and Jack Benson (Harken) 2h:33m:32s
