The International Cadet Australian Championship 2012 will be the opening act of Tasmania’s Summer of Sail, drawing elite international cadet sailors in a weeklong event that also serves as a qualifier for the International Cadet World championship. Both events will be held at Sandy Bay Yacht Club in Hobart.
Tasmania's Summer of Sail starts this coming Friday, 20 December, with the opening races for the International Cadet Australian championship at Sandy Bay Yacht Club, Hobart. The nationals is a selection series for the Australian team to contest the International Cadet World championship, also at SBSC.
The Cadets are the first of many championships, regattas and ocean races in Tasmanian waters between late December and mid January.
