Yachting Australia is looking for individuals with a passion for sailing to become a member of the Australian Youth Sailing Team support staff for the 2013 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship from 13-20 July in Limassol, Cyprus.
Yachting Australia is seeking expressions of interest for support staff for the Australian Sailing Youth Team for the 2013 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships.
The ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships will be contested in eight classes; RS-X Boys and Girls, Laser Radial Boys and Girls, 420 Boys and Girls, Sirena SL16 Open and 29er Open.
The appointed Team Leader and Coaches will be required to participate in a number of activities, including providing support to athletes on an ongoing basis, conducting domestic training camps between March and July, attending the National Youth Camp in Sydney between April 23 and 28, traveling to and from Cyprus with the Team, providing coaching support at the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships and attend Queensland Youth Week between July 1 and 6.
Interested applicants must hold as a minimum a current NCAS Level 1 Sailing Coach accreditation, or an equivalent international qualification, must have passed a ‘Working With Children Check’, hold a current Powerboat License and currently be involved in a national youth program or activities.
The Australian Sailing Youth Team, including support staff will be announced on Monday 18th February 2013.
