At the CDK boatyard, the improvements to the Ocean50 deck are being implemented at a quick pace. The innovations devised by the design office are becoming a reality, with just the hull and daggerboards as the remaining components from the original design. The deck layout has been completely updated to bring together ergonomics, performance and hospitality on board: helmsman protection, cockpit extension. The Ocean50 has been fully reworked by Michel Desjoyeaux and the Mer Forte design office: new rigging, new rudder system, new keel. The boat has established its rightful position in the category of high tech racing boats.

The doors to the biggest offshore races are opening up to the Ocean50 class. Its position as an intermediary class allows teams the opportunity to access an already existing racing programme and five competing Ocean50’s in a fleet will ensure that the excellent performance of these exciting new race boats is demonstrated.

The Mer Forte and Mer Agitée teams await you in Paris to look at the future together.

For the 52nd edition of the Nautic, Brittany have organised an exceptional event. Using leading edge innovations and unique event dynamics, the Nautic will showcase everything the Breton marine industry has to offer. Maritime region by excellence, Brittany is proud to be the leader in the practice of marine activities in Europe. The Nautic Café, for professionals only, will be an exclusive meeting point for marine stakeholders.

Endorsed by the Brittany region, the Ocean50 class will be at the Nautic Café for the duration of the show (Pavillion 1 – Stand K110). Skippers, potential partners and media are all welcome to discuss the progress of the campaign from a technical, organisational and financial standpoint.
