The 32nd Student Yachting World Cup final day was held in La Rochelle this evening. Bad weather conditions have prevented the participants from competing in the 14th course of the week, but the general good atmosphere didn’t suffer from this. This new notification has provided the World a new Champion: University College of Dublin, from Ireland! Canada and Italy, second and third of this edition, can also be very proud of their week, as they provided us with an intense battle!
The closing ceremony, at the City Hall with the Mayor from La Rochelle and the commander-in-chief of Ecole Polytechnique, was the opportunity for everybody to gather and thank the organisation for this amazing week. The best teams received also presents from ROCHET Watches for the AGPM Trophy and the World Champion Title.
This night will be the last one, and all crews will gather to celebrate the end of the competition and to congratulate the new World Champions.
