There’s no better incentive to get your entry in for the Club Marine Pittwater and Coffs Harbour Regatta with host club The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club offering a two week promotion to enter the draw to win free regatta entry for 2013.

For those thinking about entering, submit your entry via the online entry system by 5pm AEST Friday 16 November for your chance to win. One lucky name will be drawn from the barrel on Saturday 17 November and the first entry drawn will have their entry fee for next January’s race and regatta waived. The winner will be notified by phone.

All those entered to date will automatically enter the draw.

Host club, the RPAYC has also received support from its volunteers to act as ambassadors for visiting yachts when they arrive to berth their yacht at the Newport club on Sydney’s northern beaches for the Club Marine Pittwater and Coffs Harbour Regatta. An ambassador assigned to each visiting yacht will greet the owner and crew on arrival to the RPAYC marina, escort them to the club and show them around the facilities, including the newly renovated Halyards bistro.

To amp up the hospitality even further, on arrival in Coffs Harbour all competitors will receive a cold case of beer and be warmly welcomed at the Club Marine sausage sizzle hosted run by Volunteer Marine Rescue.

The first race of the Club Marine Pittwater and Coffs Harbour Regatta, the 226nm Club Marine Pittwater to Coffs Harbour yacht race starts at 1pm on 2 January. This will be followed by four races in Coffs Harbour over two consecutive days, on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January around the majestic Solitary Islands.

There are IRC, PHS, ORCi and shorthanded divisions with all entries given the opportunity to race in all three and in the Australian PHS Championships, an integral part of the regatta.

The race will once again feature the Yellow Brick yacht tracking system with 15 minute updates from the start gun until the last boat crosses the finish line. The following audience can stay up to date on all the event action and yacht positions via the website with additional updates on Facebook and Twitter.

The 2013 Club Marine Pittwater and Coffs Harbour Regatta Notice of Race is available from the event website.

For race enquiries and documentation please contact the RPAYC Sailing Office on (02) 9998 3771 or yachting(at)rpayc.com.au
