Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, India, Finland, Great Britain… all the sailors are lining up for four days of high class racing at New South Wales’ premier sailing regatta, Sail Sydney 2012.

From 13-16 December the waters of Sydney Harbour will be alive with hundreds of competitors as they race in this ISAF grade one event.

Building on the success of the 2011 event, organisers are expecting over 400 sailors to be racing on multiple courses, in multiple classes.

Olympians of today and tomorrow will be out to show their skill as they vie for the placings, and once again competitors will enjoy action packed sailing on the water and entertainment off the water.

Regatta Director Lachlan Gilbert is very pleased with the entries so far. 'All the feedback has been great. The competitors are looking forward to some great sailing in the lead up to their various state championships, and they are also looking forward to being able to catch up with a lot of friends off the water when the racing finishes.'

The ‘Dash for Cash’, parties and the regatta village will keep the adrenaline pumping for spectators and supporters as well as they line the shore to watch the competitors in action.

Join the fun, either as a competitor, spectator, or volunteer. Go to the Sail Sydney website now for details!
