The Mayor of Louisville, Greg Fescher, proclaimed Oct 1-5 'Marine Technology Week' to honor IBEX 2012.
'It's encouraging to have the help and support of the city government behind our event,' said Thom Dammrich, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA).
With more than 90 technical and business management sessions in 13 different tracks taught by some of the leading experts in their fields, IBEX 2012 has something for everyone in the boating industry, addressing all aspects of boat design and construction, management, sales and marketing.
'Louisville is a dynamic, thriving and great city to host a trade show like IBEX,' said Carl Cramer, IBEX co-director. 'It is centrally located and within driving distance of more than 8,000 marine businesses. It has lots of great hotels, restaurants and nightlife at reasonable prices and served by major airlines with low fares.'

'We also have the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) as our official housing agency,' added Dammrich.
More than 500 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest technologies and innovations at IBEX 2012.
