Inaugural Asia Pacific Student Cup to be held in Singapore

'Racing in the heart of the Singapore Central Business District - Asia Pacific Student Cup 2012'    Howie Choo

The inaugural Asia Pacific Student Cup will be held from the 19th to the 22nd of September 2012 and will see the Marina Bay, in the heart of the Singapore City, turned into a battle ground where teams from all over the region will compete in this exciting match racing regatta.

Sailed in the small but exciting SB20s, the action will be fast and intense as the 11 student teams representing tertiary institutions from Singapore, Australia, Japan, China and Thailand are all set to compete head to head to take home the overall championship. Match racing has been growing in popularity in Singapore and this is the first time an event of such nature will be held here, made possible with the support from the Singapore Sailing Federation as well as with the sponsorship from Zhik.
