Well how impressed were we with the ONLY Girls scoring Silver at the Olympics! AWESOME!!!!! We were glued to our seats as the girls turned on probably the most exciting sailing of the whole Olympic regatta. And to think, Olivia's just 20, Lucinda 22 and Nina 24 - it's not like they're grannies yet!
Want to be part of the next generations of great Australian girl sailboat racers? Want to have a crack at the ultimate bling one day?!! Maybe you'd just like to learn to sail a boat well and have a great time on the water? Come meet and sail with all the Opti girls of the Harbour. All levels welcome!
Coaching and Racing will be lead by Hannah Nattrass and Lizzi Rountree with special guests (watch this space...). For those who haven't met Hannah, she was a two time ISAF Youth Worlds medallist in the 29er and was an Australian Optimist Worlds Team member.
Work on your sailing skills, make new friends and learn what girls do after Optis! Learn to fall out of the boat with style and panache ... actually no, perhaps we'll just focus on sailing fast and having tons of fun!
