Dave who sails it is a very good RS300 sailor and does well in the Farr when the wind is up. Generally in the top 5 of a handicap fleet I would say.

The Farr looks to be sailing off  a PY of 1060.  Dave tends to sail the Farr when the breeze is up and there is only one Farr.  So, any judgement on whether 1060 is right or not, is educated guess work.

True but that's how it is with any small class PN I guess. If he's good, and getting top 5 results, it's not a million miles away and gives an indication of how fast the 3.7 is in real life.

Dave is also light as well.  The Farr looks a great boat and certainly fits in well in round-the-cans PY racing.
