Hey everyone,

I recently became the owner of a moors build wooden Dingy Enterprise. It has a two digit original sail number and I was wondering if its possible to get any history on it from its number, like the Name if it had one.

I don't have the sail number to hand at the moment but if there is a way, I'll go get it!

Thanks

Contact the class association. Most keep records of boats built, and sometimes what has happened to them at various points in their careers.

Is there a number carved into the hull, or is it just the sails that have a number? Or is there a paper certificate?

The Enterprise Association used to have pretty good records and were very willing to help. An Ent should have the sail number carved into the transom.

I believe if you get in touch with David Clarke he might be able to help...
