The “Old Farts Dogs Bowl Trophy” is one of the original stainless steel Dogs Bowls that was used by Alex Whitworth and Peter Crozier for the epic trip around the world in their famous yacht Berrimilla. A similar Dogs Bowl Trophy has been presented to the Fastnet race for the best double handed division boat from Class 3 in the Fastnet. It will be mounted and made a new perpetual trophy. Yachts that are 30 years or more will be competing for the “Veterans Cup Perpetual Trophy”. In an innovative move, yachts and skippers who have a combined age for 90+ years will also be competing for the Alex Whitworth’s “Old Farts Dogs Bowl Trophy”.
