In the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09, Telefonica Blue were first past the scoring gate off Newfoundland, claiming the four points on offer. She was followed closely by Puma, just 30 seconds behind. Then came the Ericsson twins, E4 then E3, with Telefonica Black following. Delta Lloyd and the damaged Green Dragon were the back makers.
