'Italy, a panorama of San Remo, calm, placid - until the rogue wave hit'

There's an old saying that the safest place in a boat is out at sea, away from shallow water and things that are hard when you bump into them. But you'd think you'd be safe in a marina... well think again.
Last week, several rogue waves hit the Italian shores around Sanremo. It happened mid-afternoon, without warning or explanation, and apparently ports along the Mediterranean coastline, reported as far away as Cannes, experienced the same rogue waves. The following Youtube video was taken by a camera on a large yacht which happened to be berthed in Sanremo.
