Keeping the sun out of the boat, particularly to enable off-watch crew to sleep, is always an issue, and there are many of us who react badly to the idea of curtains. This week's new product is a neat solution, especially with a black-out lining. The Skysol Pleatedshade blind from marine blind experts Oceanair provides a good shading solution for small portlights and windows onboard any boat, meeting the challenges of controlling light and temperature, whilst creating privacy and a stylish onboard environment - and without breaking the bank. This ready-to-go blind is available in five standard sizes with a colour choice of four UV reflective and dirt and moisture repellent fabrics (crème, navy, white and bone). Furthermore a black out lining can be added if required. Custom sizes are available upon request to complement specific yacht interiors. It is also simple and quick to install using a fabric covered batten that can be mounted as a face or top fix option. Upon installation owners can select whether the blind stacks to the top or bottom when the blind is not in use and a choice of hold up and hold down options are available to stay in keeping with any onboard style (poppers, Velcro, bungee or a crossbar option). | Skysol Pleatedshade - Halfway - .. . | About Oceanair: Founded in 1990, British company Oceanair Marine Limited is a leading supplier of blinds, shades, screens, and soft furnishings in the marine market.
