The Globaltech F18 World Championship, the class's first Worlds ever contested in the USA. After the first day Carolijn Brouwer of Belgium leads the 118 boat fleet from 13 countries and five continents, while Darren Bundock (Bundy), her Australian life partner is 12th.

A lot of feedback on Richard Gladwell's article about the Olympics and the media. Our Kiwi editor says the Australian Sailing Team interaction with the media was a great example of just how to deliver value for the sport and the sponsors. He is much less complimentary of the NZ yachting organisation.

A quiet few days on the local scene but it's all happening at the Rolex San Francisco Big Boat series and the Dolphin Dragon Gold Cup.

Brewin Dolphin Dragon Gold Cup - Snakes and ladders on day 3 Fiona Brown, On day three of the 2012 Brewin Dolphin Dragon Gold Cup, Graham Bailey was most certainly man of the match in Kinsale where he claimed both Overall and Corinthian victories in race three of the six race series. Brewin Dolphin Dragon Gold Cup - Tough work out on day 2 Fiona Brown, On the second day of the Brewin Dolphin Dragon Gold Cup in Kinsale, the 60 strong fleet got another tough work out as they completed race two of the series in big seas and winds of up to 28 knots from around 220 degrees.
