The Volvo Ocean Race is proving to be a war of attrition with Abu Dhabi the latest casualty. Ian Walker's team has slowed to check the damage to the bow of their Volvo 70. Franck Cammas and his crew lead the fleet on Groupama 4. Telefonica are back in third, trailing Puma.

Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofia Mapfre is set to get underway on the 2nd April in Palma de Mallorca, we have news from the RC44 Cascais Cup, the Global Ocean Race leg 3 prize giving has taken place, while at sea the Clipper fleet is closing in on Oakland, California.
The RS:X Worlds concluded after the final two days were blown out. Julien Bontemps (FRA) took the Men's title and Lee Korzits (ISR) the Womens.
