Across the world in New Zealand, the Volvo Ocean Race competitors have left Auckland and the fleet are headed for Itajai (Brazil). Former Finn world champion Wolfgang Gertz (GER) is the 2012 Laser World Standard Grand Master. Gertz won the title in a close fought contest, sailed in Brisbane, Australia last week. ‘It was a good regatta, good sailing and very enjoyable' said Gertz.
