Today we have the best knews of the week
Injured 29er skipper Tess Lloyd has returned to her hometown of Melbourne to continue her rehabilitation following an accident at the 2012 Australian Youth Championships earlier this month.
Since the January 10 accident Tess had been receiving treatment at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane until her condition improved enough to allow her to travel.
Late last week Tess' doctors and family decided that she was healthy enough return to Melbourne and be close to her family and friends.
Tess is now receiving intensive rehabilitation at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne where she has ready access to the necessary experts. Tess has already made great progress and continues to show signs of improvement every day in her speech and memory.
The Lloyd family would like to thank the excellent doctors, nurses and ambulance staff that have played such a big part in Tess' recovery, as well as the wider sailing community for the support they have shown her.
Lots more sailing news, but this puts it all into perspective.
