We are reporting today from Terengganu Malaysia for the 7th annual Monsoon Cup. Two West Australians of note Peter Gilmour and Torvar Mirsky are amongst the 12 skippers battling for the 2011 World Match Racing Championship and a share of the end of season US$500,000 bonus pool beyond the US$1.75 million dollar prizes across the season.
There will be some major action early with Gilmour and current tour leader Ian Williams clashing in the first flight. We will have plenty of video action this afternoon and across the week.
Drama in the Atlantic with the second dismasting. We will be publishing our full Volvo Ocean Race weekly newsletter this afternoon, so we have the full Monty there.
Lots of Oz and World news so go to it.
