Today as part of our Perth 2011 series we showcase the sailor standing between Paul Goodison and his second Laser Olympic Medal the 2010 ISAF World Sailor of the Year Tom Slingsby.
Young sailors from around the UK competed at the Eric Twiname Team Racing Championships hosted by the Oxford Sailing Club. From all reports the event was a big success, giving Junior and Youth sailors the opportunity to participate in a national team racing event.

Miranda Merron co-skipper of the Global Ocean Race leader Campagne de France reported levels of discomfort onboard - 'bouncing and slamming along in a disorderly sea with assorted cumulo beasties crowding the horizon.
