The fourth event of the ISAF Sailing World Cup wrapped in Hyeres, France as the Audi Sailing Series Melges 32 Marina Di Scarlino event got underway and the new Groupama 4 arrived in Lorient.

Soling World Championship 2011 won by Canada

After a frustrating week there were three races held on the final day. Peter Hall, Paul Davis and Phillip Kerrigan sailed well on the final day picking up two bullets and an eighth place finish to end on 29 points. This was enough for them to beat the Hungarian team of George Wossala, Karoly Vezer and Peter Nemeth who finished with a score card of 4-5-7 on the final day giving them 30 points.... [more]

America's Cup: Match racing trials begin in earnest in Auckland

The name of the game today at the America's Cup Race Management trials was match racing, and the AC45s proved nimble with blazing speed.
