Of Palm Beach, Key West and Miami
Welcome aboard and at the risk of sounding well, conceited, this is an edition that could only be described as interest packed!
You name it, and if it's likely to be of interest to power boaters here is where you'll find it.
We can start right at the top and when it comes to powerboats where else but at the top would you find the Cigarette Racing Team.
The legendary company's absolutely stunning creation in partnership with Mercedes AMG goes on sale in May, and we take a close-up look at this fabulous high-performance beauty.
Not quite the performance to match Cigarette (who has?), but if you're looking for class, comfort and sheer style, albeit at lower speeds, than check out the stunning Palm Beach Motor Yachts.
 | | A perfect match - a stunning waterfront mansion and the brilliant Palm Beach 50. Palm Beach Motor Yachts |
The man behind this marque is none other than master yachtsman Mark Richards, well-known in yachting circles worldwide as skipper of Bob Oatley's maxi yachts Wild Oats and line honours winner of five Sydney-Hobart bluewater classics.
And while I make no claim to be a travel writer, join me on a quick tour to one of my favourite places in the world, Key West.
Key West is probably most famous for being home to a bar – Sloppy Joe's, a legendary establishment if ever there was one, but clean living journalists such as I don't really have any interest in places where strong liquor is dispensed (Who said that????)
If you follow the European Class 1 offshore racing, there's been some revision of the race calendar; check it out here to keep up to date.
Plenty more racing news from around the world, too.
On a more worrying front, we bring news that a worldwide study has revealed danger for coral reefs, while colleague Jeni Bone suggests climate change (I still don't believe it) could effect the greatest reef of all, the Great Barrier Reef.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope we've made it worth your while.
We update regularly, so don't sit around bored, come with us and devour the news as it happens.
Enjoy the read.
