Boats and Boating - news and views
Welcome aboard for another Powerboat-World and this week we've got news from all aspects of boating from all corners of the world.
Who else keeps you so up to date?
For keen anglers we reveal where the big money went during the Port Stephens Luhrs Billfish Shootout and we have the details from Victorian Fisheries and the invitation for anglers to 'have their say.'
As you know, I recently attended the Miami International Boat Show and following the show the Florida Powerboat Club staged its 16th Miami Show Poker Run.

Some of the Cigarettes were certainly a sight to see.
Last week, I was in Sydney for the eighth Rosehill Trailerboat Show and it was most encouraging to see more than 10,000 flock through the gates to view the efforts of more than 50 exhibitors.
In fact, it was the third successive Rosehill show to top the 10,000 visitor mark.
Across in the Middle East, the Abu Dhabi offshore action is looming and here in Australia we unveil the confirmed dates and venues for the 2011 Offshore Superboat Championships.
The championships get underway off Newcastle at the end of next month and with all the 2010 champion crews backing up to defend their titles, some exciting and competitive racing should be in the offing.
Interest, too, in Australian product remains high in the Middle East following the Dubai International Boat Show, and that can only be termed good news.
That's only a few headings to stoke up your interest, there's plenty more inside.
Enjoy the read and maintain your visiting schedule for our regular updates.
And just a reminder, it's only a few weeks to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and believe me, we will be there. (with bells on)
