Star Worlds, America's Cup and more

The Star World Championship has started and the French team of Xavier Rohart and Pierre Alexis Ponsot won the Transpreto Regatta on the third day of the event.

Team Finland is due in Singapore to finish Race 5 of the Clipper Round the World Ocean Race. Team Finland has crew from the stricken yacht Cork onboard. Cork was abandoned after hitting a rock.

Its nine months until the start of the Velux 5 Oceans Race and the negotiations continue between Alinghi and BMW Oracle over the America's Cup. But at least they are sailing, we have all the latest news and our latest Gladwell's line asks some questions.

And if you are shivering with the cold, think sunny Caribbean - Antigua Race Week has begun.
