If boating news is what you're after, boys and girls, you've come to the right place.
Simply put, we have it all right here on this week's edition of Powerboat-World.
In July our ski racers take on the world's best in Belgium in the 16th World Ski Racing championships and we name the Australian team that is more than capable of bringing home ‘the bacon.'
And how about Tom Barry-Cotter? He only turned 21 a couple of weeks ago, yet on Friday he flies out Qatar to mix it with the world's hard men in the World Offshore Class 1 championships.
Whatever you do, take a close look at the spectacular photo sequence from Ingrid Abery taken during the Pro-Vee European Championships on the Solent. Here's a barrel-roll like you have probably never seen before and certainly would not want to experience.
For Formula 1 fans, we have full coverage of the Grand Prix of Portugal and reveal a new venue in Croatia for the 2010 opening round of the exciting Powerboat P1 World Championships.
Closer to home, Don Jones, general manager of Marine Queensland, has given a justified ‘serve' to a Queensland MP, while across the Tasman, or the ditch, if you prefer, the Rayglass New Zealand Offshore Powerboat championships has changed its final round venue because......wait for it......the Auckland City Council can't afford to support it.
If you are in the market for a luxury powerboat, have you noticed there is an auction upcoming in Brisbane for Sunseekers. We have lots of info on the boats too
Just to show we're not totally one-eyed towards powerboats, don't miss the story on HMS Beagle. Perhaps you can solve Charles Darwin's theory of evolution?
And in case you live in a wonderful, sunny, dry part of the world you may not be aware that ‘Sunny?' Queensland has been lashed with torrential rain and, tragically heavy seas that have cost four, possibly six lives.
Read on, enjoy and stop by regularly as we update constantly.
In fact, I am already working on a couple of stories that will be up in a day or two.
Also, don't forget, we're always on the lookout for interesting copy – if you know of an incident, a story, anything at all that should be covered by Powerboat-World, fling it our way – if you want your name ‘up in lights' or if you'd prefer to remain anonymous, either way is fine with us.
