Editorial, November 18, 2008.

It's that time of the week, again, time for Powerboat-World and a catch up on all that's happening of interest to powerboaters.

First up, for all boating enthusiasts, Darling Harbour is well worth a visit this coming weekend for the inaugural ‘Clear the Decks Sale' organised by the Boating Industry Association of NSW.

More than 70 exhibitors displaying product in Halls 4 and 5 of the Darling Harbour Convention Centre, with larger vessels, new and used, on the Cockle Bay Marina.

Talking of old, one of the oldest Sydney ferries is on the market, the Baragoola is on auction at Grays online. When we last looked the top bid was $11,500, but you'll need at least a hundred times that to restore her...

On the Gold Coast we take a look at the first diesel-powered version of the innovative Southbeach Vacationer.

Looking for a Christmas gift or a good read? We reveal a quick review of the latest book from prolific US author Jeffrey Rodengen, ‘Commanding the Waterways, The Story of Sea Ray.' We wrote a story a few weeks ago after interviewing C.N.Ray the founder C.Ray get it - he wrote us a nice note.

Plenty of other news, including the opportunity to catch up with the bio-diesel powered trimaran Earthrace on its Australian tour, Azzura Marine's latest launching, bits and pieces from the race scene, including P1, Offshore and F1.

Where else would you gather such a ‘smorgasbord' of information?

Only on Powerboat-World.com – stick around and call in regularly.
