Thanks to weekend, the Hayama Port, Japan, received many visitors who wanted to see world top level sailing competitions including those who were not usually familiar with yachting. There was a long queue for today's tickets of spectator boats offered by the organiser.

However, due to very light winds in the morning, the participants had to wait for a long time to start racing. The first race on the penultimate day of the Yanmar Moth Worlds 2016. was started at 3:35pm (JST), in a south-southwesterly breeze of 6-7 knots, three races were finally completed.

Robert Greenhalgh from UK who raced in first, second and first during the three races turned in a strong performance today. Although he was in the first place on Day 1, he had to retire from two races on Day 2 due to the damage on his boat. He continued his racing and has reached third overall five places from the top.

Paul Goodison from UK holds the leading position in the championships. Young British sailor, Chris Rashley is just two points behind Goodison. On Day 4 all top three spots on the leaderboard were occupied by British sailors with Australia's Scott Babbage is fourth.

Of the Japanese competitors, Hiroki Goto showed cracking performances and has reached twelfth overall. Sadly Kohei Kajimoto dropped down to eleventh overall. Now Goto is one place and 15 points behind Kajimoto. They will continue their tight race until the end.

Tomorrow May 29th is the final day. Whether you like it or not, only three races are remained.
