The 2016 Monsoon Cup, the finale of 2015-2016 season - last World Match Racing Tour event to be sailed in monohulls

Watch today'sWMRT- Monsoon Cup 26th January 2016 Qualifying Session here in Jahore Malaysia.

In this deciding regatta Ian Williams is slightly ahead of two rivals on points in the battle to take the overall champioship but there is a twist. Rather than the usual five crew this regatta is being sailed with a crew of four aboard the FarEast 28R keelboats, which no one has match raced before. This is the historic last WMRT regatta before the boats switch to M32 catamarans.

World Champion from two seasons ago, Taylor Canfield (ISV), finds himself in a three-way fight for the overall World Championship title against Bjorn Hansen (SWE) and arch-rival Ian Williams (GBR).
