Wet Wednesday Series 2013 - Online registration still open

by Mary Beth Ives on 19 Apr 2013
SW
Wet Wednesday Series 2013, hosted by Long Beach Yacht Club, is coming up fast with the racing action beginning on May 1st. Thanks to input from class representatives we’ve added a few more courses that should add to the fun and excitement. In addition, we are adding on the water umpires and Kattack GPS tracking for the Catalina 37 fleet only. And we have a new fleet joining us this year. Welcome Vipers!

When you cross the finish line in front of the club, tie up and come on up for a beer and our Burger Bash. While you’re swapping stories with your friends and watching on-the-water videos of the evening’s racing, stick around for the Daily First bottles of rum awards… especially if your team won!

Entries can be made online through Regatta Network or drop by the club and fill out an entry form.

Don’t forget photos, video and Wet Wednesday updates can also be found on the LBYC Wet Wednesday Facebook page at: LBYC Wet Wednesday Facebook Page Please 'Like' the page today. Guest photographers will be on the race course throughout the season helping to add to the content of our page so be sure to have your team be on the lookout.

Back by popular demand… 'The Voice' himself, Mr. Steve Steiner, will be hosting our official kickoff party and end of series parties. Stay tuned for more details.

Wet Wednesday Shirts and Dry Shirts will be available in the Ship’s Store so stop in and pick yours up.

We’re looking forward to a great time on and off the water so don’t miss out. Enter now and we’ll see you Wednesday, May 1.
