Volvo Ocean Race – It has been a steady night of upwind sailing for the lead pack as they head north, beating in 25 knot winds.

There have been no major changes with the front four in the past 12 hours. Reports from the boats are saying they are preparing for a period of stronger winds in the next 24 hours as they catch the top of a low-pressure system passing them to the south.

Team Alvimedica’s navigator Will Oxley said in a video today that the race still isn’t over, good gains have been made by back markers in the past few hours up the coast on this leg in lighter winds.
