Team Vestas Wind leaves the Persico yard in Belgamo, Italy - Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15 Team Vestas Wind
Volvo Ocean Race - Team Vestas Wind has left the Persico facility at Bergamo, Italy and has been trucked to Savona, Italy, where she has been loaded on a ferry bound for Setubal in Portugal, where she will exit and travel the final miles to Lisbon.
Every day is vital - and the team are hoping to catch a little time on the ferry trip - to allow for more sailing time in Lisbon, and get in some of the vital In Port and Practice racing ahead of the Leg 8 start to Lorient.
Team Vestas Wind's re-entry will add a new dynamic to the race, as she can potentially score points between the overall race leaders, as well as the minor placings.
