View from the Crow's Nest - Sydney Hobart Big Boat Training Day Images

With a steady 12-15 knot nor'easter blowing today (Saturday) it was the ideal day for the supermaxis to get out for training and testing.

Wild Oats XI, Ragamuffin 100 and Comanche all headed offshore early today and followed each other into the harbour at about 3pm, letting it rip through the Heads and giving the Sail Sydney Fleet a taste of what a 100 footer looks like close up.

Crosbie Lorimer of Bow Caddy Media shot these images from his home Fairlight - being about 4kms away from the boats explains the slight graininess!
