Red Bull Youth America's Cup: 36 Below Racing - Just do it!
Tue, 19 Feb 2013
After the frenetic pace of the past week - receiving the invite, making the logistic arrangements, last minute travel bookings, meeting the budget and undertaking some training - 36 Below Racing has pulled it together and made it to San Francisco for the second session of the RBYAC Selection trials.
With seemingly too little time for corporate sponsors to respond, thanks to the positive help and support from family and good friends, the six sailors - Josh Porebski, Jay Prestt, Finn Drummond, Dave Hazard, Marcus Hansen and Chris Steele - worked tirelessly to make things happen to take advantage of the opportunity to enrich their sailing experiences.
They are settling in and focussing on meeting the demanding expectations of the RBYAC trial week at Pier 80, San Francisco on the AC 45 Cats. They want to do well against the other nations sailing teams, despite the challenge of their late start. To find out more about their amazing experience during the week, follow them on face book or twitter links below.
36 Below are extremely grateful for the well wishes and support they have received from many parts of the sailing world and beyond. Thank you and please keep it coming.
