In addition please note the following details in relation to parking, road trailer storage and also the launching facilities for non-official spectator/coach boats. Note that the club ramp facilities will be restricted to official boats only – However, the public ramp which is more conducive to launching is located a few hundred metres south of the Worser Bay Boating Club on Marine Parade.

The weather report provides a mixed picture of the expected conditions. However, with the regatta being held in the ‘Cultural Capital of New Zealand’, should the water activities become impacted y the weather then there is certainly no shortage of things to do – to name a few … The City Art Gallery and the Dowse Gallery, The Saturday underground markets, The Summer City Festival, Botanic Gardens, The Wellington Zoo, Weta studios, The Karori Wildlife Sanctuary, Carter Observatory … and enough café’s to enure you can visit one that is not full of laser sailors.

The organising committee are currently finalising preparations for this event and are pleased to have the support of some generous sponsors in Find Recruitment; Opus International Limited; Ricoh; Catalyst IT Limited; Wellington City Council; John Deere; and Agriturf Limited.
