TVNZ's America's Cup anchor, PJ Montgomery follows the New Zealand America's Cup Challenger KZ-7 as she goes through her daily race routine, today against one of the French challengers.
Here he talks to mastman, Jeremy Scantlebury on the nuances of wooling spinnakers, chats with weatherman Bob McDavitt, gets the run-down from tender driver Peter Vandersloot, and then chats with sail-boss Joy Allen before heading out on the water and getting the run down on the tuneup process from Richard Morris, and then talks with coach Laurent Esquier.
Hard to believe many of the same faces are still around the America's Cup game after 25 years, and also a great memory of many who aren't - but still played a vital part in the then New Zealand Challenge headed by Michael Fay.
