Golden Gate YC pleased over America's Cup venue confirmation

Golden Gate Yacht Club
Golden Gate Yacht Club have responded with a terse, short statement in response to the announcement that Valencia will now be the venue for the 33rd America's Cup, to be sailed on the dates originally prescribed by Justice Herman Cahn.

Head of External Affirs for Golden Gate YC's team, BMW Oracle racing, Tom Ehman said: 'We're very pleased to see that SNG/Alinghi have finally agreed with us that Valencia in February is the correct venue to hold the 33rd America's Cup. Presumably SNG will now drop their appeal of the Court's decision that RAK is an illegal venue.'
