Sail-World.com : Line 7 gear available from Events Clothing

Line 7 gear available from Events Clothing

'The sails may have been lowered for the time being on Line 7, however Events Clothing is still in a position to supply to clubs and corporates'
Local supplier of branded superyacht, marine and corporate clothing Events Clothing holds a wide range of Line 7 clothing and marine gear, which is available for any yacht club around New Zealand to purchase.

Despite several close downs of well known and long standing New Zealand clothing brands, Events Clothing, well-known supplier of branded superyacht, marine and corporate clothing lines, is experiencing a strong surge of interest in their products, despite the recent news that clothing brand Line 7 has been put into receivership.

'We are saddened to hear of Line 7’s financial difficulties,' says Events Clothing director Owen Rutter from the company’s home-base in Auckland, New Zealand. 'We have worked with the Line 7 brand for many years – they produce some excellent clothing lines – but we would like to reiterate for our customers and suppliers that the two companies are completely separate operations. Events Clothing has no financial links to Line 7 or its owners and therefore is not experiencing the same funding difficulties.'

Rutter says Events Clothing currently holds considerable stock of Line 7 clothing so yacht club and other customers seeking to replenish an existing range of Line 7 clothing should not assume that Line 7’s receivership means stock is no longer available.

'As suppliers to the New Zealand marine industry and corporate markets we will continue to manufacture, source and supply quality apparel from various ranges. Our international superyacht clients have always had the opportunity to source both stock and bespoke uniforms from a number of brands including our own Events Clothing ranges, Musto and other performance-oriented clothing. This situation doesn’t change and we look forward to continuing to work with clients the world over to source the best possible clothing lines for their specific purpose,' says Rutter.

Events Clothing also sources casual and performance garments from Musto as well as producing product under their own clothing label for the bespoke uniform market.

'We’re in the yacht clothing business – that’s the heart of what we do. If you’re looking for Line 7 or other marine-related clothing, give us a call on 09 303-0013 or check our website, www.eventsclothing.co.nz, for a comprehensive insight into the product lines we carry.'

'Regardless of the situation with Line 7, we look forward to continuing to work with clients from New Zealand and the world over to source the best possible clothing lines for their specific purpose,' adds Rutter.
