Sail-World understands that the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court has set down the Hearing of the Appeal by Societe Nautique de Genevre for 2.00pm on Thursday 5th June.
Both parties have agreed to an expedited hearing, and the Court previously indicated it would be on the June docket.
It is not indicated when a decision will be delivered, however the original date for the Match was just one month later on 4 July 2008.
By their own admission, Alinghi are yet to start building a Defender.
There is no decision yet as to whether a Stay will be allowed by the full bench of the Court, after the Judge hearing the application alone declined to order a Stay.
