New America's Cup DVD released - a Must Buy!

The second in a series of America's Cup DVD's has been released by New Zealand based production company, Mediawave.

An outstanding production, this DVD is notable not only for capturing the highlights of the 12 Louis Vuitton Acts sailed in four countries. The camera work is outstanding as is the sight of AC yachts racing against the scenic backdrops of Valencia (Spain), Marseille (France), Malmo (Sweden) and Trapani (Italy).

The DVD contains full coverage of the match racing rounds of each Act plus the spectacular fleet racing in each venue.

Commentary is provided by Martin Tasker and Peter Lester.

The DVD is viewable as chapters or continuously and runs for approximately 180 minutes.

Special features contain eight segments from the ACTV magazine series, America’s Cup Stories, and have explanations by Chris Dickson and others of the nuances of the Pre-start; Cup spying between the teams; Life in the below-decks in the Pit of an AC yacht; AC design explained by the top designers from Alinghi, Emirates Team New Zealand and BMW Oracle Racing and so on.

This is the most comprehensive and current America’s Cup footage that will be available on the market throughout the 2007 America’s Cup season.

It's a must have for yacht clubs and private viewing. This is easily the best America's Cup DVD we've ever seen.

The DVD is a complete new cut from the footage shot across the 12 events, and the producer has had the luxury of time to develop a very high quality production. Where else will you see shots of BMW Oracle Racing racing at 18-19 knots, as she did in one race crossing the finish line at Trapani??

This is the coffee table book of the DVD World.
