If you’re thinking of acquiring a new sailing boat in the near future, it will be hard to ignore considering the winning European Boats of the Year for 2006.

The boats are chosen by a jury of 10 European boating magazines from 10 countries, and announced on Day One of the Duesseldorf Boat Show, ‘Boot 2006’. Boot 2006 will be one of the biggest shows in Europe – organisers are expecting 283,000 visitors from 60 nations and 1,659 exhibitors from 55 countries to patronise the show, which finishes on 29th January..

Winner of the European Powerboat of the Year under 30ft (9m) was the SEALINE S29.
